2024 Varsity State Championship

Building on its national success, IMG Academy continued its winning tradition in 2024. The varsity program captured a second consecutive SSIA State Championship, while the football program remained nationally ranked across multiple levels. The season highlighted IMG’s ability to sustain excellence year after year. It reinforced the program’s reputation for elite performance, preparation, and player development.

2017 Breakthrough National Power

The 2017 season marked IMG Academy’s emergence as a true national powerhouse. Finishing No. 3 in the national rankings, the program proved it could consistently compete with — and defeat — the nation’s best teams. This breakthrough year accelerated IMG’s recruiting impact and national scheduling footprint. It laid the groundwork for future championship seasons.

2020 MaxPreps National Champions

IMG Academy football reached a major milestone in 2020, finishing 8–0 and earning the MaxPreps National Championship, the first national title in program history. The Ascenders dominated a national schedule filled with elite competition and finished ranked No. 1 in the country. This season marked IMG’s official arrival at the top of high school football. It set the foundation for sustained national dominance in the years that followed.

2023 National Champions

The 2023 season stands as one of the most dominant in IMG Academy football history. The National Team finished undefeated and was crowned National Champions by the National High School Football Forum after a marquee win over St. Francis. IMG also captured its first SSIA State Championship at the varsity level, while the post-graduate team secured a second consecutive national title. The season cemented IMG’s status as the premier national prep football program.
